This mustard seed (Bassica Nigra) was carried to and flown aboard the International Space Station by Expedition 7 Commander Cosmonaut Colonel Yuri Malenchenko, spending over six months in space orbiting the Earth.
The Brassica Nigra black mustard seed is the type which most Biblical Scholars believe quoted in the Bible (Matthew 17:20).
Presented on a colour illustrated card mounted within a 3.5" square acrylic case. The reverse of the card carries a signed declaration of authenticity.
Please note that the seed case has opened on most of the ten we have available due to the spacer gap in the case being too narrow. This was a presentation design error on our part and reflected in the incredibly low price.
